The summer school targets also students. Therefore the teachers that are interested in participating, can optionally invite and accompany a small group of their students (13-17 years old).

In the frame of EURobotics week on November 24, 2017 EDUMOTIVA team (www.edumotiva.eu) in cooperation with the Network for Children’s Rights (www.ddp.gr) offered a hands-on workshop with Arduino projects for teenagers at the Network Youth Center in Athens. 14 teenagers from Greek, immigrant and refugees’ families were familiarised with DIY electronics and robotics and had the opportunity to make their own first Arduino projects. Their question in the end of the workshop was when this will happen again.

We had a very creative weekend at the Athens Mini Maker Faire 2017
Many thanks to the many other makers that we got to know and the visitors of the faire for all these inspiring discussions and creative moments of practice!

The ROBOESL international conference “Robotics-based learning interventions for preventing school failure and early school leaving ” is organised with success by Edumotiva (European Lab for Educational Technology) in collaboration with the 7th Secondary Educational Committee of the Municipality of Athens and the 6th lab center of Piraeus at the Technopolis City of Athens.
The conference took place in the context of the ROBOESL project (ERASMUS+ Project RoboESL: 2015-1-IT02-KA201-015141).
