Erasmus+ KA1 Course on Educational Robotics & DIY electronics

Invitation for teachers to attend our training courses in Educational Robotics & DIY electronics in Athens, funded under the ERASMUS+/KA1 scheme (May 2-7, 2017)

Erasmus+ / KA1 provides full funding opportunities for individuals to improve their skills, enhance their employability and gain cultural awareness. Key Action 1 supports mobility in the education, training and youth sectors and is managed at decentralized level by the National Agencies.

The European Lab for Educational Technology – EDUMOTIVA  organises training courses under the Erasmus+/ KA1 scheme and invites you to participate in the following open course: ” Educational Robotics & DIY electronics in the classroom

Course aim: Participant teachers will be given the opportunity to reflect upon the use of Educational Robotics and DYI tools for learning, to practically design relevant learning interventions, to work practically in an equipped lab and to design relevant educational resources and learning material.

Course duration: 1 week

When: May 2-7, 2017

Special focus has been placed on meeting the quality criteria and priorities set by the Erasmus+ programme

Preparation:  Selected teachers will be invited to fill in a questionnaire in which they can document their respective views on the training.  Prior to the start of the course, participants will be given access to the online class and receive recommended reading and educational resources relevant to the course contents.

Follow up activities are also foreseen with the aim of extending collaboration and exploring opportunities for new Erasmus+ learning interventions.

About us: EDUMOTIVA brings together professionals with a long experience in Teacher Education & Training in the area of Educational Sciences and Learning Technologies with a special focus on Educational Robotics. Dr. D. Alimisis, scientific leader of EDUMOTIVA, former Professor of Educational Technology at the Higher School of Pedagogical & Technological Education (Patras, GR) and adjunct professor at the Hellenic Open University, was the coordinator of the pioneering in educational robotics European project  TERECOP (2006-9,  www.terecop.eu ), editor of the book   Teacher Education in Robotics – enhanced Constructivist Pedagogical Methods and author of many papers in educational robotics.

  1. Send us an email at info@edumotiva.eu  to register your interest for attending the offered course. If there are still places available you will receive a confirmation email.
  2. Download the application form from your national agency website and fill it in.
  3. Submit the application to your national agency (check carefully the deadline)
  4. Inform us after your grant acceptance

In case you already have a grant and you are still looking for a suitable course, you are very welcome in our courses.
